| Message from the President With the constantly evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, the health and safety of our society is of primary concern as we look forward to the meetings and events for remainder of the season. I would like to announce that the March 26th membership luncheon meeting has been cancelled based on the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the prohibition on gatherings by Harris County and the City of Houston. We are reviewing our plans for the April membership meetings, our participation in the COPAS Spring Meetings in Washington D.C., the May membership Golf, Picnic and BOD election meeting, and our planned Education Day in May. All of these meetings may be subject to postponement or cancellation based on the level of risk and the local circumstances that would affect the risk of exposure. |
