Audit Committee

The Houston Audit Committee meetings are held monthly from September through November and January through April of each year. Our attendance ranges from 20 to 30 members and the topics vary from month to month focusing on issues of significance relating to the audit process and procedures. The presentations and discussions at these meetings qualify for one (1) hour of CPE credit for those attending. It should also be noted that the meetings coincide with the general meetings of the PASH.

The committee also has the responsibility to provide input to COPAS for drafting of new publications or modifications of existing documents. These publications are discussed and reviewed in order to provide comments back to the drafting committees.

Guests are invited and are encouraged. Guests do not have to be members of the PASH to attend the meetings. Our goal is that the meetings should be educational, informative and also allow for networking opportunities.
